Ted Kennedy: An Honest Appraisal

This article makes me miss Michael Kelly's writing, but also makes me feel both pity and disdain for the late senator. It's a must-read.

Update - Another must-read. If you support the right policies, it's amazing what some will forgive.

maybe I should augment that statement, 'was' should be 'were'. and there is no edit button on this site (grumble)
anyway, I don't see why there is such hooplah for another dead Kennedy. Senators die all the time, why the press? just because he's a Kennedy. He rode the coattails for many years, and it doesn't make him a good politician cause of the relation. Actually he was dismal, a whore mongering blowhard we've recently learned is a familial trait.
so goodbye Mr. Kennedy. I'm not being bitter, I'm just glad to see you go.
:)
