A Suggestion for the GOP

No more McCains, ever. Meghan McCain, the daughter of our failed 2008 nominee, is trying to make herself the future leader of the party. Here's a sample of her winning strategy:

Thank you so much Mary, yes we have to take back our party from radicals! xoxo
Excuse me? "Our" party, Ms. McCain? Those are awfully bold arrogant words from someone who joined the party last year, only after her father became the GOP nominee for president. Meghan's recent attempts to make herself some sort of party leader, considering her almost total lack of identity with the GOP, are insulting. Her only claim to fame is being the daughter of a self-styled 'Maverick' and she's trying to pretend that makes her some sort of up-and-coming young GOP leader with worthwhile ideas.

Based on her writings and media appearances, though, she's simply a younger version of her father - a Republican who realizes the easiest and best way to achieve media adulation is to speak out against all of us conservative 'radicals' who make up a good percentage of the party.

To quote Rush Limbaugh, I hope she fails.

THANK you. I was just thinking about how if there was one RINO I couldn't stand more than others, it was Meghan McCain.

She's simply loving the adulation and attention from the liberal left who think it's clever, cute, and coy for a self-proclaimed "Republican" to agree with them more than with conservatives.
Her replies, blogs, and comments reveal her immaturity and simplistic naivete.
Yes, she's entitled to be who she is and like what she does or believe what she will.
However, her positions advocating a strong defense and accountable government are not unique to the Republican party.
She seems to have no problem with increasing government size or power, states rights dwindling, and makes no mention of individual responsibility and the benefit and virtues of private enterprise and free market capitalism.
She reminds me of an immigrant who comes to the United States and decides they don't like it the way it is and so they will change it. It's arrogant, not their place or role, presumptious, and smells of the political correctness pumped by the left.
No, Meghan, you're not a conservative on many issues, and hardly a Republican. Blue Dog Democrat maybe, but no elephant.
