Culture of Corruption

Stories like this make me wish the GOP wasn't the stupid party. Remember, Nancy Pelosi promised the most ethical Congress ever. And she wanted to make Murtha her majority leader.

And now her Democrats are blocking the investigation of a man who has been caught up in corruption before, and apparently hasn't managed to keep his nose clean since.

So...why is this not yet an advertisement?

Politicians tend to cover their own ass and support those that have covered their own ass in return.
Is there something that Pelosi has to hide? Besides writing the stimulus package that our grandkids couldn't pay off realistically?
thank you, ma'am. We're thankful for putting a cap on our own carbon footprint for the sake of the rest of the world.
it doesn't stop the rest of the third world from using coal, since they have the small problem of feeding their young... and we whine about carbon footprints when there are much more poignant and important things going on. They don't care, consider the Kyoto treaty. it wasn't a cap on CO that they'll let you believe.
it was a deal for the third world to use our carbon credits, since we can't use them here.
to cut down on the debt they had they owed us.

Because it wouldn't be helpful. You see, if they go after the Dems on this their words could be twisted and they would look bad.

Don't worry, it gets easier to be spineless the longer you do it.
