Hey, 2008 is Almost Over
I'm celebrating in high style. My wife's at work, so I'm eating tomato soup and watching "Planet Earth" with my daughters. My older daughter just laughed watching a wolf chase and take down a baby caribou.
I'm not sure whether to be concerned or proud.
Anyway, happy new year, all.

Happy, happy New Year. May 2009 be as interesting as 2008!!
We have wind -- wait, make that WIND -- but no snow, thank goodness, so can venture outside at midnight to peak at the stars. Do that every year, just because it's neat to say good-bye and hello.

I'd be proud.
Were I raised in a world of violence (sorry, the world is violence) I might not have to restrain my violence to the point of EXTREME violence.

Be proud.
Happy new year.

Proud. One day she'll be a mama wolf and she'll have to bag baby caribou for her pups. Learn 'em early.

Be proud, very proud.
Besides the disturbing fact that I learned that our eldest niece is dating, she was able to pick me up on her shoulders and hold me there. The new year showed me that my own niece can beat me up, should I be concerned or proud? =P
