Obama: Plumber Delenda Est!

enemyoftheone.jpg

The fallout from Joe Wurzelbacher's question to Barack Obama, and the candidate's answer, seems to have stung The One. And when The One is stung, he strikes.

Wurzelbacher, like Sarah Palin, discovered the cost of getting in the way of Obama's ambition. Since becoming a national figure, Joe the Plumber has had his past thoroughly examined by the national press, been attacked by a vice presidential candidate, and has had his livelihood threatened by the city in which he lives. Not a bad day's work for The One's acolytes.

Super special bonus for Obama: the treatment of Wurzelbacher has scared others away from being sources for stories that might make The One look bad. Like Treacher, I've got to wonder - if Obama is doing as well as the media claims in the polls, why does he feel the need to take such desperate measures against a private citizen who simply asked a question?

It's scary, to say the least. What's going to happen to blogs? We'll be like the underground in France -- only way better.

I'm a little bit kidding -- but -- how many days to the election??

Kath,
I think it's fair to guess that if the democrats get Obambi in the White House and a completely bulletproof Congress the "Fairness Doctrine" will become law. Then Rush, Sean and the rest of conservative thought will become illegal.

If the forces loyal to HRH Obambi the First have their way anyone who doesn't worship him as required by federal law will be sent to a reeducation camp.

Years ago Ronald Reagan told us it was morning in America and we saw the smile on his face and believed him.

Obambi is the approaching darkness - whatever happens the next four years will make Saw III look like a garden party.

I just finished reading the L. Sprague de Camp classic, "Lest Darkness Fall". For different reasons, I think that that title applies to this election season.
