Ever More Transparent
In recent weeks, both Kathleen Parker and Christopher Buckley have come out against Sarah Palin and in Buckley's case, endorsed Barack Obama.
Now both of them are suddenly invited to appear on cable news interviews and dish about their disdain for the GOP ticket. This gives ace an idea.
Buckley's Obama endorsement and the ensuing backlash forced him to tender his resignation at the magazine his father founded. I'm a big fan of Buckley's books, so I'm a bit disappointed by his decision to support Obama. Won't stop me from reading "Little Green Men" again, though. That's some funny stuff.
So I guess the bright point in this is that this experience is likely to give Buckley some good material for his next book.
As for Parker, I never read her before all of this, so I'll just continue not doing so.

I've typically liked Parker.

I guess for me it's a matter of too many columnists, too little time. I don't have anything against her personally.
