Well this Could be Interesting
For the first time in over a decade, there's a hurricane watch here.
Should make for a fun weekend. Doesn't look like it's going to come this far inland, but it might make things wet and windy for awhile.
Whew - Storm's heading north instead of west. A Canadian hurricane. When was the last time that happened?

Seems like here we've had weekend after weekend of watches and warnings and "Oh, but we need the rain." Grocery stores are the ones who are happy- lots of comfort food and snacks being sold.
Hope you guys are okay. Does sound odd to talk about a hurricane in Maine.

Chose this weekend for the "getaway" with my girlfriend up to Eastport. Kind of quiet and lonely up there for us; we owned that town.
