Memo to Team Obama
If you're going to allow your surrogates to say nonsense like this without comment, don't pretend to be shocked and horrified when people get a little upset at your 'lipstick on a pig' comment.
Obama's campaign is responding by questioning John McCain's honor.
Great move, there, community organizer.
I hope McCain's campaign doesn't make too much of this. Sure, what Obama said was stupid, but let voters make their own judgments.

So no matter what you say, it's "veiled racism"? I see. But the lipstick on a pig comment was just that -- just a comment. I see. As long as it's clear. Ok.

Excellent post. And how about that Air America host who said that John McCain was treated well by the Viet Cong during his years of captivity? They'll stoop to anything to try and get Mister Empty Suit elected.
