Is Palin Afraid of the Press?

The media is trying to build another narrative - that a woman who's been in public life for over a decade is afraid of the press.

Or maybe, you know, the McCain-Palin campaign is smart enough to realize the press hasn't exactly been been friendly and are only looking to pull an Andy Hiller on them.

I had the same thought about the pop quiz, and I was thinking she should be armed with a few trivia of international relations -- for example, the past three prime ministers of Poland -- and turn the tables. Before answering the pop quiz, she'd say: "OK, smartass, I'm sure you looked up the answer to that before the show, so let me test YOU. Who were the last three prime ministers of Poland? Answer correctly, and I'll answer your question." "But, but, but I'm not running for vice president." "And I'm not answering trick questions from some dumbass shock jock."

Would never happen, but it's fun to imagine.
