Texas Irritates the World Court
When it comes to the death penalty, I tend to be ambivalent. Still, I can't summon up much sympathy for this guy.
HUNTSVILLE, Texas (AP) — Texas has executed Mexican-born condemned prisoner Jose Medellin for the rape and murder of two teenage girls 15 years ago.Maybe being the father of two girls clouds my judgment on such things, but I can't help but think the world is an ever so slightly better place with this monster dead. The details of what he did to those girls are too horrible to recount, but suffice it to say his crime was disgusting enough to make me root for his execution.The state carried out the execution late Tuesday night after the U.S. Supreme Court rejected his request for a reprieve in a split vote.
The 33-year-old Medellin had claimed he was denied treaty-guaranteed help from the Mexican consulate when he was arrested.
Shame on George W. Bush, the World Court and four justices of the Supreme Court for putting legal technicalities above the compelling evidence of Medellin's guilt. They picked the wrong guy to make the poster boy for 'international law.' On this one, I'm glad my birth state did what needed to be done.

...to worship at Ramadan, 6-7 years, in a mosque with extremist-linked imams(equating Allah with Jehovah), to arming Fatah($120 billion + weapons and training)while forcing Jews off of their land in the cause of a peace that will NEVER be, to begging on his knees before Wah'habists for oil we weren't drilling off the coasts because of a ban his daddy wrote, and HE upheld until a few days ago, while telling the American people to burn their FOOD in their cars, to accepting the FALSE premise of the "man-made global warming" hoax being used to destroy the capitalist free market system...and etc...
