Obama: I Have a Dream
Well, it's really more of a fantasy. Or rather, a smear.
“They know that you’re not real happy with them and so the only way they figure they’re going to win this election is if they make you scared of me,” Obama continued, repeating an attack from earlier in the day. “What they’re saying is ‘Well, we know we’re not very good but you can’t risk electing Obama. You know, he’s new, he doesn’t look like the other presidents on the currency, he’s a got a funny name.’”Of course, the fact that John McCain's campaign has actually gone out of their way to defend Obama against unfair attacks is lost on The One. Obama's trying to create sympathy and headlines by lying about McCain in an extremely disgraceful manner. (Still, I've got to say that as much as Obama's attack irritates me, it's disturbingly gratifying to see McCain get a taste of what it feels like to be lied about. How's that karmic payback feel, Maverick™?)
On another note, isn't it a bit early for Obama to be playing the race card? I wonder what's causing this little attack of desperation?
Update - The New York Times dares investors to send its stock even lower. As a commenter on Hot Air asks, is this what Obama had in mind when he suggested a national dialogue on race? The same old crap as always, only with a patina of hope and change thrown in to disguise the smell?

Obama will use the race card for sympathy and to make white voters feel some kind of "inherited" guilt for being white. DAMN this crap! Nobama - ever!!! And, by the way, my white ancestors were ALL poor, came into this country poor, and have worked tirelessly since. They never owned slaves nor lived off the sweat of blacks. ENOUGH of this race whine!

Who wrote this? What is incorrect about O's comment, other than playing the race card when he doesn't need to?
Alex Sillius in TELEGRAPH said O was presumptuous in his comment, "I have become a symbol of the possibility of America returning to our best traditions." Why does the media keep leaving out the most important part of that comment where he includes everyone?" That is false reporting.
No one can deny that McCain telling Obama he needs to got to Iraq and O going was a good idea since we DID see a very presidential candidate. We know we can trust him to make intelligent decisions.
O's problem seems to be that he continues to talk about the future, and talk hope.I know his policies are on his website, but he needs to be explaining those points as he speaks so the media sends it out over the networks every day. And he needs to speak more from his heart. Look them in the eye, listen to people more.

Well, there's the whole lying about his opponent thing.
But since he's talking hope, I guess he can be forgiven some egregious untruths, huh?
