I think part of the 'meh' was because maybe I'm tired of bad things happening to New York. I don't know if it's trauma fatigue or if the novelty has worn off.

It definitely struck me as a movie you either need to see in the theater or with a good surround sound system, since a lot of the movie seems to depend on volume.
