Reid Gets Tough

Harry Reid is throwing down the gauntlet.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) said Thursday that he may have to push undecided superdelegates to make their decisions in the Democratic presidential race, if the contest stretches into June.A letter. Oh, the humanity!Reid said he would consider writing a joint letter with Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) demanding that superdelegates make their endorsements public.
I'm not sure these wimp-arm tactics are going to convince undecided superdelegates to make up their mind. In fact, some of them may resent such pressure.
Like I've said...better and better.

There was some talk a little while back about having a pre-convention superdelegate convention to wrap this thing up, possibly as early as June. I'd rather see it drag out, as I don't like either of the Democratic candidates enough to wish anything good upon them.

Remember what happened the last time Harry wrote a letter (to Rush)? Raised something like 4 mil for fallen vets. By all means Harry, write the letter.
