Mr. Slublog Goes to Washington

mrsmithletters1.JPG
Me, after a few hours of workshops.

I may not have much time for blogging in the next couple of days. Tomorrow, I leave for our nation's capitol for a work-related conference. The conference doesn't begin until next week, but I figured I'd turn the trip down into a family vacation. Blogging will depend on internet access and time.

And, of course, whether I collapse out of complete and utter boredom during the conference.

Update: 4/12 - We're now in Reading, Pennsylvania visiting some relatives. The weather is amazing - so this is how the other half live. A couple of days here and then it's off to Washington, DC.

Update: 4/15 - Yeah, I know I should start a new entry, but I'm too lazy. Day one of the conference is over, and it's as exciting as I thought it would be - learned some good information, but a four-hour workshop is still a four-hour workshop.

Please report on any "bitterness" you encounter in Pennsylvania. I'd also be interested in knowing which hymns they sing at the gun-cleaning-bees.

Hey guy, I'm going to be moving to Baltimore this summer. Next time you're in DC, we oughta try to get together for lunch or something.

Slu, what's going on with Maine's electoral college votes?

I heard that the legislature voted to somehow giveaway the votes to the winner of the national popular vote but I can't find any links.

Know anything?
