Barack Obama Thinks We're Stupid

illusionist.jpg
Nothing to see here...

There's no other explanation.

(CNN) -- Sen. Barack Obama said he is "outraged" by comments his former minister, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, made Monday at the National Press Club and is "saddened by the spectacle."

"I have been a member of Trinity Church since 1992. I have known Rev. Wright for almost 20 years," he said at a news conference in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. "The person I saw yesterday is not the person I met 20 years ago."

Obama said he is outraged by Wright's remarks that seemed to suggest the U.S. government might be responsible for the spread of AIDS in the black community and his equation of some American wartime efforts with terrorism.

Think about that for a second. He's been a member of that church and has known Wright for 20 years and now claims he is "shocked, shocked" by his former pastor's opinions. Only a complete and utter fool could fall for such tripe. (Andrew Sullivan, come on down!)

Does Obama really expect people to believe that Wright has grown more radical in the past two days than he's ever been in the previous two decades? Heck...has Wright grown more radical now than when Obama said he could "no more disown him than I can disown the black community" or "my own grandmother?"

I've read Wright's speech to the NAACP and the transcript of his appearance before the National Press Club. I've heard audio and seen visual from the speeches. In both, Wright comes across as an angry, bitter and unpleasant man who displays little of the grace one should expect from a pastor who claims to communicate God's truth.

Obama's press conference was an attempt at sleight of hand, but he's a poor illusionist.

"Barack Obama Thinks We're Stupid"

I don't think so, he is not that smart. His actions over that last few weeks demonstrate that he is an incompetent buffoon and a political amateur...the perfect democrat candidate.

Obama, Clinton, DNC; what's the difference in their view of the populace?

No one seems to look towards his political views, which are very far left. Since his reverend has shown his true colors, he's suddenly trying to distance himself. After twenty years, some of us aren't buying it. You've accepted crazy for twenty years, if you didn't believe it, you would have went to another church.

since he is the only serious black man for president, suddenly we should forget what he is about, white guilt and everything. lets not forget his past. or what his reverend says.
he's listened to that man for years, and he's more liberal than most.
he's a smooth talker, but between the both of them
I'll listen to anything but him, he lies, especially about his reverend.
