Nine in a Row?
Another bad night for lamps at Hillary HQ.
(CNN) -- Sens. Barack Obama and John McCain will win in Wisconsin, CNN projects.Hawaii is voting at the moment, and since it's Obama's home state, I expect he'll win that one as well. Ten in a row will be bad news for Clinton, since it pours a little bit more Eau de Loser on her campaign. Add in the fact that she continues to show no class, and things aren't looking good for her.The victory marks the ninth consecutive win for Obama over rival Hillary Clinton since a split-decision on Super Tuesday two weeks ago.
"The change we seek is still months and miles away," Obama said Tuesday night in Houston, Texas.
"It is going to take more than big rallies. It is going to require more than rousing speeches ... it is going to require something more because the problem that we face in America today is not the lack of good ideas. It's that Washington has become a place where good ideas go to die," he said.
On the Republican side what can you say? McCain is going to be the nominee, and yet Mike Huckabee is promising yet again to stay in the race. Lately, he's been comparing his campaign to that of Ronald Reagan in 1976, who campaigned against Gerald Ford right up to the convention.
It's a ridiculous comparison on many counts, but mostly because Reagan had spent the years before that campaign advancing conservative ideals. Huckabee spent most of the years prior to this campaign doing the exact opposite. Plus, Reagan actually had a shot at the nomination in 1976. Huckabee? Not so much.
The returns on his campaign are diminishing pretty fast.
Update - steveegg, in the comments, says this is a blowout for Obama. And Jay Cost delivers even more bad news for Clinton.
Grrrr... - Careful, Huck. I'm a Texan, and you're darned close to blasphemy here. Those who defended the Alamo sacrificed their lives. You're engaged in a vainglorious campaign that's long past its expiration date. There's a difference.
Don't Jinx It, But... - Larry Kudlow says Hillary's done. I think he's right, but don't want to celebrate just yet. The Clintons are like horror movie villains - just when you think they're dead...

Not only is it 9 in a row, but it's a delegate wipeout. Only the 1st Congressional (my district) is even close for Clinton (down "only" 1,000 votes), and my projection of the delegate gain will be Obama 42, Clinton 32.
Meanwhile, I vote we throw western Wisconsin out of the union. Huckabee is winning the 3rd (southwest) district and is within 80 votes in the 7th.

She's done. Take it from somebody who attempted defibulation with an entire power plant.

I'm not popping the champagne just yet.
Think Glenn Close in "Fatal Attraction." Hillary just might come screaming out of that tub...
