To be fair, I would be drinking in any case.
Still, the next President of the United States believes in global warming. Our next president thinks no man can be illegal. The next POTUS deplores tax breaks for the wealthy.
Hm. Yeah. I think I can drink a bit more...

Drink? Hell I'm thinking of decamping to a warm tiny island somewhere for the next 4 to 8 years. Put up a tent, sell my photography and "get lost".

Actually, have you seen the numbers of votes cast in these primaries? I'm guessing this choice is because of less than 1% of the population, while the 99% wring their hands in despair.
Those who have had a chance to vote yet, that is. Indiana doesn't have its primary until May.

What about, "Don't blame me, I'm the 97% that doesn't live in IA, NH or SC." That's a more accurate measure of disenfranchisement.

If you want to get really snockered, 7%, peg it to "my friends." Man, that gets old quick.
We really need to overhaul our primary process. It's all decided before too many of us get to vote. And, this year, our nominee was picked by independents, crossovers and bluehairs. Thank you.

We played a drinking game during, I think, one of the NH Republican debates. One drink for every time "Reagan" was said, two drinks for every time "Ronald Reagan" was said. I ended up drinking a whole beer during one of Giuliani's one-and-a-half minute speeches. I think I would have had to go to the ER if we'd been drinking stronger spirits.
I have a stupid question - why aren't we seeing any McCain-Huckabee debates now? I want to see blood.
