Ingraham vs. McCain

John McCain may be pro-life, but he's got a funny way of showing respect for the cause. Limbaugh put it well the other day when he said that McCain didn't have to file a brief, but did so anyway. His brief helped ensure that a pro-life group was unable to spread the truth about abortion.

I sincerely hope he's not the nominee, because I would have a very hard time voting for him in the general election. He may mouth pro-life platitudes, but his actions speak volumes. I've seen how hard grassroots pro-life organizations work to tell the truth about abortion. It's thankless, heartbreaking work, and McCain basically crapped on them when he had the chance to defend them and stand up for them. And he did it without any prompting.

You know, I really don't like McCain all that much, now that I think about it. He may have a compelling personal biography, but he's done his darndest to cancel that out with an atrocious political record.
