Hidden Home Treasures
Spent most of the day doing more work on the bathroom remodeling project. Removed wallpaper, painted the ceiling and primed the walls. Last week, tore out some cabinet walls and found a hidden cache of old wallpaper.
It's sweet stuff. Classy, even. Some samples:

It's the pattern that really makes this wallpaper. Vases, flowers, evil-looking bird creatures. Put this into a kid's room and night terrors are guaranteed.

God created flowers. Man created wallpaper. The 70s created these colors, none of which were meant to go together. I'm not sure what room this wallpaper is intended to decorate. After all, not many homes have torture chambers.
Sometime in the next couple of weeks, I'm going to tear the counter and the shelving completely out of the room. I can only imagine what sorts of treasures I'll find then.
