Florida...Probably McCain?

At this point, who knows. McCain is up by about two points at the moment, with 38% in.

Hillary Clinton took the state pretty easily. She's going to increase pressure on the party to count Florida's delegates.

If McCain wins tonight, even by a little, it's going to be spun as a mandate and momentum going into Super Tuesday. At this point, though, it's 60-40 he's the nominee. If he is, it's going to take some weapons-grade pandering, apologizing and general sucking up by McCain to get conservatives to the polls in November.

Well - They've called it for McCain. That was one heck of a political resurrection. I can't believe Republicans have forgotten the amnesty debacle this quickly.

Looks like another 'hold my nose and vote' election. Unless McCain picks Huckabee as his running mate. Then it's a 'stay home and watch McCain lose' election. (Hey, anything to keep Huckabee out of the game).

Amazing. Somehow, independents were allowed to vote in the "closed primary" and served as McCain's margin of victory. Without them, it would have been Romney. Florida election officials are idiots.

They're now saying Guliani is out and will endorse McCain. Do you think that will end it for Romney?

Nah, he's got far too much money and organization. At best, he can pull enough states on Super Tuesday to bring the contest to a draw, perhaps forcing a brokered convention.
