Children: Bringers of Humility
My daughter has greatly expanded her vocabulary in the last couple of weeks. Unfortunately, that's not always a good thing.
When I get home from work, one of the first things I do is go upstairs and change into real clothes. This evening, I happened to come downstairs holding the shirt I intended to wear, and was shirtless for a few seconds.
My daughter looked over at me, frowned, and said "Da...shirt ON!"
I guess that doesn't speak well of my 35 year-old physique.

My little girl was looking at a ten-years ago photo album with me the other day, and she stared at one picture of me and said "Daddy...why were you a different...shape?

It definitely sucks getting to middle age.

Could be worse - she could have asked you when the baby sister is coming out of daddy's belly.
