Should Auld Aquaintance Be Forgot...
I used to watch the ball drop and welcome in the new year with friends. Now, I'm lucky to make it to the evening news.
Happy new year, all. May 2008 bring peace, prosperity and the defeat of Mike Huckabee in the GOP primaries. My new year's resolution? If Huckabee wins the nomination, I stay home in November.
Update - Maybe that's uncharitable on this semi-holiday. But still, yesterday's stunt with the negative ad was unseemly and cynical. Enough is enough, Iowa. Send this guy home.
