Perfect

The Patriots just finished an undefeated season, after a great football game. The Giants put up a fight, but for the first time since...um...I was born, an NFL team has a perfect season.

Dang. The AFC continues its dominance. This is not good for the Cowboys, if they win the NFC.

Oh, who am I kidding? The NFC is the sacrificial lamb of the NFL.

The NFC is the sacrificial lamb of the NFL.

What comes around goes around.

The blogger on SI said it best: this level of performance won't beat Indy or Jacksonville. After the first Indy game, I thought that Indy winning an away playoff rematch was not impossible, and even reasonable. Now that Dwight Freeney is out for the season I'm a lot less confident Indy can hang with them for a whole game. I have to say, though, the Pats own the 4th quarter. They always seem to come back.

Best of all? Those '72 Dolphins yahoos can quit parading their champagne glasses around every year.

You do remember that the NFC won 13 straight SBs in the 80's & 90's?? Its the AFC turn now.
