Huckabee: The New Faith Yardstick?
My latest column was not complimentary of Mike Huckabee. I figured it would garner some controversy, but I didn't really expect this:
"If there is such a thing, Mr. Cook is an 'EINO' (Evangelical in Name Only). I disagee [sic] with almost the entirety of this column, and am an evangelical Christian as well. "That comment was courtesy of "ManofFaith." I suppose I shouldn't be too hard on the guy - he's only emulating his chosen candidate. You stay classy, Huckabee supporters.
ManofFaith's comments are not the first I've seen in this vein. Unfortunately, some Huckabee supporters seem to think that any Christian who criticizes Huckabee's record is not just wrong, but un-Christian. In my opinion, that evangelicals are willing to use such tactics to support their candidate doesn't say much for their discernment.
I should note that registration at MaineCoastNow is free and easy, if you would like to let "ManofFaith" know how you feel about his comments...but in a pleasant way, of course.

It looks like the comments on Maine Coast NOW are hinky...according to the timestamps, you responded to MOF's comment before he posted it.
And you should come up with a snappier pen name:
Bic Biro
Perry Pentel
Carl Crayola
