Blogging: A Parent's Refuge
Why don't toddlers sleep? Is it something in the brain? Are they simply too stubborn?
No matter...it's just more time to blog, and spend time with my daughter, who I'm afraid is destined to be a sociopath and serial killer, despite my efforts to turn her into a normal human being.
What makes me say such things?
The last few nights, while in her bath, she's engaged in some...disturbing behavior. Specifically, she's held her rubber ducky's head under the water while saying "Bye...bye..."
Needless to say, we won't be getting her a puppy anytime soon.
Between her sleeplessness and the pain from my recently-diagnosed chondromalacia patella, sleep will be but a hopeful dream. I know doctors have a job to do, but all that poking and prodding?
Might as well set the knee on fire after poking it with a sharp stick.
