Another View of the Writer's Strike
My friend Dan's latest column is up, and he's included a pitch-perfect "CSI: Miami" script.
Yellow tape is being placed around the scene. David Caruso shows up driving a Hummer the size of Bill Gate’s guest house.David Caruso, call your agent! The audience recoils at the sight of Caruso’s hideous face, pasty and pale and never intended to endure the powerful rays of the Florida sunshine. His face is a roadmap of pain, the audience’s pain.
“What have we got?” he says, taking his sunglasses off.
The other guy from the show says, “White male, in his early 30s, badly decomposed, dropped above the high tide line.”
Caruso sighs and puts his sunglasses back on.
“Looks like the tide has turned… to murder.”
