Putin's Soul Not Looking So Good These Days
Man, I hope President Bush regrets saying this: "I looked the man in the eye. I found him to be very straightforward and trustworthy. We had a very good dialogue. I was able to get a sense of his soul; a man deeply committed to his country and the best interests of his country. And I appreciated so very much the frank dialogue."

Vladimir Putin is finding common cause with a thug, which makes sense because over the last few years, Putin has spent a lot of time nursing his own inner thug. I think we're seeing a slow expansionism take hold in Russia - Putin is not going to invade any countries (other than Chechnya) but he is going to attempt to spread Russian influence in strategic areas around the world.
This is a guy we've got to keep our eye on.
