A Whiff of Desperation
This is what a social conservative leader looks like when he believes his hold on a major political party is slipping. It's not pretty.
Does he really believe electing Hillary would be better for the unborn child and the pro-life movement?
Really?
Update - I doubt Dobson expected, or appreciates, this sort of encouragement.

Perhaps I just don't understand Dobson's thinking. Pro-life presidents have controlled the White House for 12 of the last 20 years, but abortion is still legal and pretty much no progress has been made on their marriage agenda.
Yet, its still the issue they're willing to give up the White House for, to someone who's even more pro-choice.

The logic of the anti-choice crowd is terrible. If abortion were outlawed in this country people would be rioting in the streets. Bush is super anti-choice and has he made any progress for them? Isn't enough to say I don't like abortion, I don't think it's all cauliflowers and marigolds, but I'm not going to shove my view down other people's throats. And why is anyone giving Dobson any credibility anyway. If it were up to him he would have us living under theocracy.

This is exactly how the Christian uber-conservatives that I come into contact in my area think. In Florida they sat out the gubernatorial elections in Florida because of Charlie Crist's view on abortion.

uh, duh, let's see how many times I can put the word Florida in a sentence.
