Chasing the Dirty Dimes

See-dubya, blogging at Hot Air, has a huge round-up of stories related to Hillary Clinton's growing fundraising scandal. And the scandal goes much wider than Norman Hsu - the acceptance of dirty cash seems to be a pattern, not a quirk for the Clinton campaign, as Sweetness-Light points out. S-L also looks into the wayback machine...

Boiling it down from the NYT’s opaque text, Hillary Clinton accepted at least $157,000 in donations from a company owned by John Burgess, a disbarred New York lawyer with a criminal record for attempted larceny and patronizing a sixteen-year-old prostitute.

And when informed of this, Mrs. Bill Clinton refused to return the money. Even though other pols, like the Cuomos, were shamed into doing so.

(Mind you, this is the same Hillary Clinton who demanded that Barack Obama return contributions from David Geffen because Mr. Geffen had the temerity to call the Clintons “liars.”)

This is a big story that has the potential to smash the aura of inevitability that surrounds Clinton's campaign, especially if the MSM and bloggers keep finding dirty campaign donors in the mix.

Don't get me wrong - Clinton is still a strong candidate, but this is a major crack in her armor and the other Democratic campaigns would be foolish if they didn't exploit it.

This is definitely a blog that people need to get behind. The problem is, no one wants to do a great deal of reading and not have something else to stimulate the mind. This is the internet, after all. Maybe if you added a video or two to emphasise your point. Ill stick around, FOR SURE. But, I dont know if others will.
