"World Trade Center"

That was an Oliver Stone movie?
We finally got around to watching "World Trade Center" this evening. The verdict?
It wasn't as gripping or moving as "United 93," the only other major motion picture about the events of September 11. That movie was superior. This one, though, was darned good.
The movie focuses on a small story that took place on a day full of events too large to comprehend - two Port Authority police officers who were stuck under the rubble. The movie shows how Officers John McLoughlin and William Jimeno survived the attack and the aftermath, and chronicles the bravery of those who rescued them.
"World Trade Center" is not a perfect movie, but it is an extremely good one. If you haven't yet seen it, it's worth your time.
