Shut up and Make with the Programming

mpbn.jpg

Seriously...how many times can these hacks say the same exact thing?

Just ask for money, shut up and put the program back on.

Sheesh.

UPDATE - AGAIN?!? If they did this on the hour, that would be one thing...but every 15-20 minutes is just ridiculous.

Sorry, Slublog, this isn't a real comment. It's a test to see if I can leave comments here. I left off the url, as you suggested.

And thanx once again for your comment on my photography. Not only did it inflate my ego, it apparently piqued enough of the other commenters' interest so that I had a nice spike in visitors from that AoSHQ thread.

Nice.

No problem on the "not real" comment. I've been getting a lot of test comments on the blog lately.

If you leave the h-t-t-p out of the address, it might work.

Slu - You know they do it just to annoy you. They figure the more they annoy people, the sooner you'll cough up, and the faster they'll get their money.

I always figured that the best thing they could give as a pledge premium would be a secret frequency where you could tune in and not hear pledge breaks.

I've always wondered what they would do if someone super-rich called and said "I will give you $250,000 if you do not interrupt this program again." Think they could do it?

What really ticks me off is that in between the tincupping they always say how great it is to support PBS so they can continue to give you that commercial-free programming.

Once I actually heard a middle of the night DJ say "This program was made possible by a grant from Rudy's Records, so if you are in the neighborhood you might wanta drop by and lay a little bread on them" Yeah, baby!
