Short "300" Review

From Dorkafork.

I can do better. A one-word review of "The Departed:"

Meh.

Okay, I'll expand on that: A lot of cool scenes that didn't add up to a coherent whole.

I liked The Departed until the end. It was like, "we don't feel like writing and ending, so we'll just kill everyone."

The rat running accross the balconey railing was a bit cheesy, as well.

There were parts that were brilliant. But by the end of it, when everyone had a bullet in their head, I realized that I didn't really care for the characters all that much.

I hate to compare The Departed with Goodfellas, but at the end of that movie, when they whacked Tommy, I felt for the guy - and he was a murderous psychopath.
