Infidelity Offsets

Ever felt like cheating on your significant other, but just couldn't handle the guilt?

The answer is easy. Just buy some infidelity offsets and take advantage of someone else's faithfulness.

What is Cheat Offsetting?

When you cheat on your partner you add to the heartbreak, pain and jealousy in the atmosphere.

Cheatneutral offsets your cheating by funding someone else to be faithful and NOT cheat. This neutralises the pain and unhappy emotion and leaves you with a clear conscience.

It's a satire, of course, meant to show just how ridiculous the idea of carbon offsets really are.

The thing that bothers me the most about the idea of being able to purchase "carbon offsets" is that even if the offsets purchased go toward planting trees or some other worthy cause, the person who makes the purchase is still polluting. It's cheap grace - do whatever you want, you can just pay your way out of the guilt and let someone else do the actual hard work of living an environmentally friendly lifestyle.
