Took them long enough, didn't it?
I believe that the guy probably exists, but don't believe he's the most trustworthy source, given the lack of corroboration for the stories he sourced.
UPDATE - A reader asks what type of wine one would serve with crow. While I think Doug at Bogus Gold is probably more qualified to answer the question, I'll take a shot. I'm thinking a nice pinot noir or merlot - the sweetness of those varietals will counteract the gamey taste of the bird.
A lot of commenters at the Hot Air link seem reluctant to accept the story. While I understand their feelings, I think we just have to admit we're wrong, take the lumps and move on. Not everything can be Rathergate.
