Spoils of Victory
The Democrats have been in office less than a week, and they're doing their darndest to wipe out any hope that their reign will be different. I'll admit - the Democrats gave me some hope that they'd actually be different from the Republicans with their promises to cut earmarks and improve ethical standards for members. But if they can't get the little things right, how are we supposed to trust them on the big stuff?
Tax hikes, and new House rules to make passing them a lot easier.
Broken promises on Congressional work weeks, and hints that more things will change in the future, and not for the better.
And look what they did to the poor Dallas Cowboys.
Okay, that last one is not technically the fault of the Democrats, but it happened on their watch.
