Reid, Durbin: "Where are you going with that trough?"
Remember all of those promises Democrats made before the election about earmarks and pork? How they were going to end all of those bad, evil Republican policies and clean up the system?
Um...yeah, that's not working out so well in the Senate, where Senators Harry Reid and Dick Durbin tried to kill the earmark reform passed by the House.
Boy, they'd better work this out soon. Those 100 hours are ticking down... (H/t: Ace)
(Yes, there have been a lot of photoshops lately. What can I say? These guys inspire me.)
UPDATE - Ace notes that Trent Lott voted to preserve the status quo. It's tempting to create a Lott photoshop but honestly, the guy has transcended mockery - nothing I say about him can make him look worse. His own actions do that well enough.
