Flogging a Dead Cliche

Okay. That's not my best photoshop. But I already gave this one away. In the battle between intellectual property and traffic, I'm going with traffic every time.

Why photoshop? It seems Glenn Greenwald has dragged the shopworn chickenhawk argument out for another spin. Ace and Allah respond.

The so-called "chickenhawk" argument is a weak-tea attempt to shut down dialogue over the war. Instead of engaging their ideological opponents on the pros and cons of the war, the left simply tells those who support the war that they have no right to speak unless they meet certain criteria. Take the argument to its logical conclusion - does the anti-war left really want to limit free speech to those who have served? Do they want the United States to be a more Heinlein/Starship Troopers-oriented society?

There are many conservatives, including myself, who are starting to have doubts about the efficacy of our efforts in Iraq, but still think the war against Islamic fascism is worth fighting. We should be able to have a debate on this issue, however, without being told to shut up or serve by those who hide their lack of ideas behind a cheap debate trick.

Glenn Greenwald seeks "Ellison's" advice on how best to stick it to the chickenhawk warmongers who still support George McHalliburton Enron Bushitler's failed escapade in Iraq.
