Yeah, Yeah...

It's been pretty quiet here lately. My weekend was full of the sort of busywork that the Christmas season seems to create. All sorts of fun. Add in the fact that I really haven't had all that much to say about the news lately, and you get weeks like this one.

Maybe it's just that my brain is fried with a busy life, a slight lack of sleep and some mild depression. Together, it's just not a combination that equals creativity.

Anyway, in lieu of actual blogging, here's links!

The Raging Rudolph saga, courtesy of Madtv
. Ever wondered what Rudolph the Red Nosed Raindeer would be like as a gangster? These videos will answer your question.

The new trailer for 300 is available. This is going to be an 'in the theater' movie for me.

Tony Perkins proves, once again, that he has no political instincts whatsoever. As far as I can tell, he is critical of Mitt Romney for once disagreeing with him, even though Romney now agrees with him. If he wants to continue marginalizing the Family Research Council by irritating a contender for 2008, that's fine by me. I hope Perkins is not surprised, though, if he finds that doors begin to close for him as people find his thoughtless dogmatism tiresome.

Yup, it's starting to look more and more like a publicity stunt.

I have just one question about the Princess Di spying story. Why?

Rosie O'Donnell said it was "homophobic" for Kelly Ripa to jokingly wonder where Clay Aiken's hand had been after he put it over her mouth. Now the Queen of Sensitivity has her own issues, and she's responding with something far less than class. Malkin has found that O'Donnell uses "u" instead of "you" on her website. As if I didn't dislike her already.
