Nancy's Party
Remember the Democratic criticism of the cost of Bush's second inauguration? It seemed you couldn't turn on CNN without hearing someone asking whether the president was spending too much on his own party. There were polls taken about whether it was appropriate or not.
Wonder if we'll see any of that next month, when Nancy throws herself a big party. I don't begrudge her the party she wants to have - they won a big victory and should celebrate.
But will the media level the same amount of criticism, ask the same questions, as they did of the Republicans?
