Busy Weekend - Headline Roundup

My weekend started with a mild round of viral gastroenteritis and ended with the decorating of a Christmas tree. It's run the gamut.

To make things more fun, it was a column weekend. I, of course, wrote about Tom Tancredo.

So in lieu of late Sunday evening/Monday blogging, I give you some headlines:

Allah is just chock full of interesting news. A coming Muslim majority in Russia, some fighting in Beiruit and a growing realization that Russia may be returning to some bad habits.

I found this site while doing some research for my column. It's called Tancredo Watch and it's written by someone in Tom's district who seems to dislike the guy even more than I do.

War protester Cindy Sheehan has, in the past, said that without the internet, the U.S. would be a fascist state. Sheehan likes to hang out with Hugo Chavez, president of Venezuela, who seems to be moving his country toward a fascist state. The enemy of her enemy, I guess...

Forgot to mention this the other day: it's a little early to be breaking campaign promises, isn't it?

Remember "Field of Dreams?" This quote from the movie seems relevant here: "Out! Back to the sixties! Back! There's no place for you here in the future! Get back while you still can!"

The Associated Press really needs to clean up its act.

British copyright laws may soon make "illegal" file sharing a moot point.
