Pence for Leader

Time for John Boehner to go.

Clean sweep.

I am running for Republican leader, because I believe that we did not just lose our Majority-we lost our way. We are in the wilderness because we walked away from the limited government principles that minted the Republican Congress. But there is a way out. "The way out of the wilderness," author Mark Helprin wrote, "is the truth; recognizing it, stating it, defending it, living by it."
Sounds good to me.

I hope Rich Lowry is wrong here
. If Republicans really are considering keeping the old guard around, then it's clear they haven't really taken this loss as a learning opportunity.

When you lose this badly, those who helped orchestrate the loss have to go. Boehner was in the leadership, and in part, the buck stops with him. Nothing personal. Only business.
