Lies, Damned Lies...
...and pure carne rojo.
Let me get this straight. The Lancet study, which estimated Iraqi death tolls using legitimate research methods (but was deeply flawed due to a bad sample) was junk science.
But this study, based on anecdotal evidence and estimates, is absolute gospel truth.
Right.
As I've said before, we need sound immigration laws to control the numbers of people who come into this country, and a strategy to assimilate immigrants. Tancredo-style rhetoric and suspect research are not going to get us there.
