Book Recommendation

I'm glad it was a quiet weekend. I got this book from the library, and spent far too much time reading it. I expected a book full of escapist, zombie-killin' fun (and it delivered there), but also got a well-written and at times thought-provoking novel.
Yeah, I was surprised as well.
The book is written as an oral history, a collection of "interviews" and "personal accounts" of those who survived the Zombie War. Brooks takes the subject seriously, and the strong writing makes the necessary suspension of disbelief easy. Brooks makes a world where mankind was almost decimated by the undead plausible.
So if you like zombies (and who doesn't?), this book is worthy of your time.

Hey, what a coinkydink, I just got this off the 'hot titles' shelf at my library.
Only got one chapter into it before I was sidetracked by the "new" Robert Heinlein book.
It's good.

I'm responsible for this mess, aren't I?

Well, of course.
I finished the book last night. I hear they're making a movie of it - I hope they don't mess it up too much.
