A Real October Surprise

Is the New York Times going to run a story that bolsters the case for taking out Saddam?

Or not. Seems the IAEA is afraid that too much was made public, and of course it's all Bush's fault.

There's one thing I think we call can agree upon - Drudge is a moron whose desperate need for validation from the old media has made him irrelevant in the age of the 'new' new media. His sole purpose seems to be to act as a marketing agent for old media news stories.

UPDATE - Meh. I had better clarify my statements on Drudge. I think he's a great news aggregator and I check his site multiple times a day, but his refusal to acknowledge the new media and link to Instapundit or lgf when a story is breaking makes him more irrelevant than he was before.

His stubborn insistence on waiting for a story to break in the MSM often puts him hours, or in the case of Rather and the fake documents, days behind a story.

Now, back to the original reason for this post. Geraghty at NRO says the New York Times, in an attempt to hurt Bush, has spun itself right into a hole.
