Never Let it be Said...
That Maine politics is boring.
Warning: Orange background with white letters.
UPDATE - Better and better.
The candidates mostly stayed on the mark with their answers, even joking with one another at some points. The most colorful moment may have come before the debate started when NaPier, dressed in a kilt, was required by organizers and university police to remove a sword he was wearing at his waist and a dagger from his boot.Nope. Never boring.

I try to be objective as a journalist, but I saw the picture of this guy when we were putting together our election supplement and my first thought was "Holy crap." Napier is definitely the most interesting candidate. http://www.mainecoastnow.com/blog

And he had to have Pine Tree Zones explained to him. Guess he's really on top of things.

Yeah, it was at that point of the debate I was glad they took his sword away.

He still looked better to me than the incumbent...
I think if Napier had his sword taken away, Baldacci should have had the state's checkbook taken away. Arguably a more dangerous item in the wrong hands.
