Frist: "Capitulate"
Remember all that stuff I said below? About the Republicans being good on the war and that's the reason we should keep them in power?
Forget I said it. If the Republicans don't have the courage to keep a terrorist group from gaining political power, then why even bother with them?

Issue No. 1, the national security issue, toughness, the only issue left for the GOP. Hand it to Frist and he fumbles it with a vengeance. Whaaat?I wish I could say this is unbelievable, but really - who among us is surprised at all?
UPDATE - Frist says he was taken out of context. You know what? I wish I could believe. I want to believe. But Allah's 'context' here, and Frist's history of saying stupid things, makes me wonder.
