Do Republicans Love God?
HAROLD FORD, JR.: My friend Lincoln Davis who chairs our campaign says there are, there’s one big difference between us and misfortunate Republicans when it comes to our faith: he said that Republicans fear the Lord; he said Democrats fear AND love the LordWell, I guess it means Republicans are wise.
Professor Reynolds is right - this campaign has been making a lot of unforced errors lately. I'm not sure what is causing it, but Ford needs to settle down and get back on message if he wants to win this election.
Because let's face it - that was a profoundly silly thing to say, and it would cause quite a stir if a Republican had said it.
