Is Allen Done?

If this story is true, then yeah, safe to say George Allen will never be president. Heck, if this story is true he might not even be a senator after November.

Honestly, though, Allen has never impressed me all that much. The "macaca" kerfuffle was the last straw, though. I wasn't bothered by what he said, but by the fact that a U.S. Senator bullied a kid in the audience. Sure, the kid was a Democrat partisan, but that's no excuse for being a jerk.

UPDATE - Allah says there's reason to doubt the story. That's good - I can't imagine that Allen has gotten this far without this coming out before.

Still don't like the guy, though.
