Off to P-Land

Blogging will be extremely light to nonexistent tomorrow and Friday. I have to travel south for a conference, and although the hotel has wireless, I doubt I can get away with blogging during the sessions.

In the meantime, here are some interesting things around the web:

Ace notes a curious proliferation of tricyles in dramatic news photos lately.

Jonah Goldberg says people in the West are suckers.

Senators have to share their elevators with...ick...real taxpayers. Oh, the humanity!

Katherine Harris hid a subpoena. You know, because she needed more political baggage.

Yikes...that is one ugly bug.

Cox and Forkum on the Jewish Federation Shooting.

More later, if I'm sneaky enough with the laptop...

Eh, I see nothing wrong with members-only elevators. Staff them with attendants, post a Marine on each floor to keep out the reporters and the unelected, allow smoking, hell, set up a small wet bar in there just for Teddy. Then tell the Senators they can only use these special elevators if they give up their franking privileges.

Big pictures, Slubs. Big picture.
