Best of Times, Worst of Times
Two incumbent Democrats have lost primary bids. Based on the results as of now, Joe Lieberman was defeated by Ned Lamont and Cynthia McKinney was beat by Hank Johnson. It seems the Kossaks finally got on the scoreboard - getting Lamont elected is a victory for the 'netroots,' but it's likely going to be a short-lived one, as it seems Lieberman is going to run as an independent. He'll likely win that race, and the Democrats will lose a normally loyal vote.
As for McKinney, it's about time. The margin of her defeat (59% Johnson, 41% McKinney as of this writing) is a sign that voters in Georgia were finally tired of her antics. Hank Johnson seems like a decent guy, and I hope he does well as a member of Congress.
The image Allah uses at Hot Air seems appropriate.
November is going to be interesting.
UPDATE - Kos, sore winner. Really, did you expect anything different?
UPDATE - Ace notices the New York Times' attempt to redefine moderate.

Michael Moore has now weighed in. (Weighed, get it?)
Best part of his newly posted letter is the title of his letter: It's All About Who You Sleep With ...
Is this man really qualified to speak on this?
